For 11th graders; one 4-hour session
This course is for students who want a short but intensive class to prepare them for the math portion of the SAT. Students will take one timed, full-length, real SAT test (math only). During the session, in addition to studying the solutions to the questions on the practice test, students will review all necessary SAT math content (including the algebra II concepts that have been added to the newest version of the SAT) and will learn the many problem-solving techniques and calculator short cuts crucial for success on the SAT. Each student will receive individual attention: advice about how to best approach the test will be tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
Section A and Section B, on February 3 and 4, are particularly appropriate for students taking the March 9 or the May 4 SAT.
Section C, on April 6, is particularly appropriate for students taking the May 4 or the June 1 SAT.
